Your link in bio does nothing

A link in bio lists your platforms and stops there. A page that gets your fans to act gives them something to do, and that something brings you listeners.

A phone lying flat, its screen on a page of empty links

A link in bio is a list of buttons. Spotify, Deezer, YouTube, the shows. It tidies things up. It does nothing.

What a link does, and what it does not

It sends. A follower taps, lands on Spotify, listens or not, and that is the end of it. The link offered them nothing. It brought you nothing beyond that tap. It brings nobody back, and it tells none of their friends that your track exists.

You put that link there because something had to go there. It never had another job.

What a page can do on top

A page that gets your fans to act adds three things to the link.

  • It offers a gesture. Sharing a track, following you on a platform. Free, no account.
  • It turns that gesture into a post. The fan leaves with an image ready to share, carrying the address of your page. Their followers land on your page, not on a platform.
  • It gives people somewhere to come back to. Your tracks as previews, your shows, your gear wishlist, your fundraiser, and the wall of people who already supported you.

Sharing has its own page, how your fans spread your music, and so does the team, which tells your fans with every news: the Team page.

And your page is still your link in bio

One address, for everywhere: vyu.page/your-address. Your platforms are on it, right under your photo. So it does everything your current link does, and the rest on top.

How to switch

  1. Create your page from your Spotify, Deezer or SoundCloud link. We read your name, your photo and your tracks, you check, you pick your address.
  2. Replace the link in your bios. Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, anywhere there is one.
  3. Then add what you want: a wishlist, a fundraiser, your dates.

Create your page, it takes a few minutes.
