Why every show of support becomes a post
On VYU, a fan who supports you leaves with a post in their name, ready to share. Here is why we built it, and what it changes for you.

A like never leaves the app it was left in. A show of support on VYU does.
The problem with a payment
When a fan buys you a microphone or puts €20 into your fundraiser, it means a lot. But most of the time it stays between the two of you: a receipt for them, a line on your statement for you. Nobody else sees it, and your music does not gain a single listener.
We wanted the same gesture to work twice. Once to get you the gear or fund your project. Once to get you heard.
What happens after a fan supports you
As soon as a fan supports you, VYU prepares a vertical post in their name, ready to share. It says what they just did, the way they would say it: "I gifted a Focusrite Scarlett Solo to Malo Ferrand". Malo Ferrand is one of our example profiles, and he is fictional.
It works for every kind of support, not only payments:
- sharing one of your tracks
- following you on a platform
- gifting an item from your wishlist, all of it or a share
- chipping in to your fundraiser
If your page has a video, the post is a nine-second video cut from yours. If not, it is an image with your photo. The video is silent, and the fan adds your track with the Instagram Music sticker.
Why the address is written on it
In an Instagram Story, the fan pastes the link to your page into a sticker. In a Reel or on TikTok, there is no link to tap. So the address of your page is written at the top of the image, where the caption and the buttons do not cover it.
What it changes for you
Your fan's followers see someone they know supporting you. That is a recommendation, not an ad. The curious ones land on your page, where they find your tracks, your wishlist, your fundraiser and the wall of people who already supported you.
You have nothing to do. No visual to prepare, no caption to write.
